Curriculum Undergraduate Elementary Teacher Education at Eastern Oregon University

EOU offers two options for candidates seeking initial teacher licensure recommendation: The CUESTE program and the MTE program.

The CUESTE (Curriculum for Undergraduate Elementary School Teacher Education) program serves students who choose to integrate their baccalaureate degree program with the professional education component.

Elementary candidates complete a liberal arts degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and a minor in education as part of an undergraduate program.

The Master of Teacher Education (MTE) program is a 13 month, graduate teacher preparation program leading to Oregon initial licensure in education, and a Master's degree.
