Art as a Means of Social Intervention

Our program is distinguished in higher education because it is done with the Content. We think the art in a theoretical context - aesthetic, with a mission in education planning and the use of artistic tools as a means, not an end in itself. As a means to enhance the skills of individuals through innovative teaching methodologies and to explore other views and to open new paths of development.

These aspects in the training are being reflected in the experiences of our students in their early approaches to schools and projects with agencies with special needs, such as Gendarmería Chile.

Because we understand art as a tool that can help the individual to overcome, we want to be professionals, in addition to the classroom, they are entrepreneurs in the cultural management and are endowed with a strong social commitment and solidarity.

Promoting New Forms of Learning

Our training focuses heavily on how the person learns not only in mathematics and mathematics as an object of study in themselves. It is vital to acquire sound knowledge and conceptual clarity, while encouraging interaction with the individual, to interpret the cognitive and psychological difficulties that hinder their development.

Encourage empathy, recognition of individual achievement and group, the assessment of the error as a learning and understanding of mathematics as a human activity. We believe that teaching resources, educational and technological help to strengthen the barriers to learning.

Cultivate our students these skills early in instances closer to schools where they are invited to engage in the activities of the teacher, participating in the process of strengthening and supporting working groups.

The curriculum includes a specialty in information for the effective use of technology resources as a teaching tool.
