Nursing Education from Cleveland State University
The graduate certificate program in nursing education allows nurses with existing baccalaureate or master’s degrees in nursing to acquire the skills acquire the skills and competencies needed for the teaching and clinical supervision of nursing students. The program is designed to prepare graduates to be clinical faculty members in schools of nursing or staff development instructors in health care or related facilities. The program concentrates on curriculum design and development, instructional design, use of technology in the classroom, clinical teaching, faculty and student roles, and the supervision and evaluation of student nurses in clinical areas.
