The Center for Advanced Studies in Children and Youth, University of Manizales and the International Center of Education and Human Development - CINDE offers the Master of Education and Human Development.

It is aimed at professionals involved in various ways with the educational process and human and social development, within disciplines and professions such as psychology degree, social work, social communication, medicine and nursing, the speech, gerontology and family development, among others.

It is also aimed at professionals who are national or regional responsibility for designing, implementing and evaluating processes of teacher training on a professional or continuing education.

This program is articulated andalusia Doctorate in Social Sciences, Children and Youth, University of Manizales and CINDE, which means that our graduates as / as have the ability to partially approve the doctoral cycle, provided they meet all requirements the selection process of the PhD.

The Wellness certification provides graduates the skills to teach both Physical Education and Health, ages PreKindergarten through Adult. The program was undertaken with the intent of preparing fitness experts to assist the nation in modifying the rapid development of health problems. Physical educators who are highly motivated, who exhibit a deep understanding of proper exercise and nutritional habits, and who understand the methods of teaching will be truly valuable in assisting the nation in reducing health costs and increasing productivity of its individuals.

Fitness professionals, specialize in an aware and competent in technical and pedagogical school structures, focusing on methodological aspects of teaching practice and the legal grounds psychology and those related to culture of body movement.

The course offers students the opportunity to study the most important principles of child development from 0 to 6 years, so it provides the conditions for living and living in social group, predisposing it to the elementary school.

The Orientation Course is aimed at the formation of the Educational Specialist trained to work with education to teachers, students and school community by encouraging the construction of a specific area of teaching and learning, fostering all towards their goals, and these common in the construction of knowledge. Educators today recognize the information and communication technologies powerful tools in the teaching learning process. This course aims at training a new teacher, by the need to discuss the uses of technology in the field of building skills and knowledge, both in its application as a resource in the classroom as the creation of new methodologies such as Education Distance.

Graduates in various fields who wish to work in education.

The overall objective of specialization is the acquisition of scientific knowledge, pedagogical and technical in this area, in order to qualify teachers for the duties of support, monitoring and socio-educational integration of people with special educational needs (SEN). As specific objectives is to develop skills of critical analysis, intervention, training, supervision, evaluation and consultancy.

RECIPIENTS
Educators and Teachers of all levels of education, (eligible for credits) and other graduates of any field.

ORGANIZATION OF THE COURSE
The Course of Specialization in Special Education will consist of 490 hours, and 350 hours joint, 60 hours of development expertise, 50 hours for the research project (Methodology and Guidance) and 30 hours for seminars, workshops and visits to institutions, over a year in the post-work, also taking advantage of periods of school interruption.
Evaluation will be conducted through written work of each discipline and the research project.

CERTIFICATION
According to article 5, paragraph c) of Decree-Law No. 95/97, to all those who complete the course and obtain approval of Expertise will be given a certificate of specialization in Special Education, (specifying the domain: the cognitive domain and motor; field of hearing and deafness; field of vision), the University Portucalense D. Infante Henrique.
