The overall objective of specialization is the acquisition of scientific knowledge, pedagogical and technical in this area, in order to qualify teachers for the duties of support, monitoring and socio-educational integration of people with special educational needs (SEN). As specific objectives is to develop skills of critical analysis, intervention, training, supervision, evaluation and consultancy.
RECIPIENTS
Educators and Teachers of all levels of education, (eligible for credits) and other graduates of any field.
ORGANIZATION OF THE COURSE
The Course of Specialization in Special Education will consist of 490 hours, and 350 hours joint, 60 hours of development expertise, 50 hours for the research project (Methodology and Guidance) and 30 hours for seminars, workshops and visits to institutions, over a year in the post-work, also taking advantage of periods of school interruption.
Evaluation will be conducted through written work of each discipline and the research project.
CERTIFICATION
According to article 5, paragraph c) of Decree-Law No. 95/97, to all those who complete the course and obtain approval of Expertise will be given a certificate of specialization in Special Education, (specifying the domain: the cognitive domain and motor; field of hearing and deafness; field of vision), the University Portucalense D. Infante Henrique.
