Students take courses in Northern Studies, Native Language and Cross-Cultural Education Methods, as well as other Faculty of Education courses.

A major goal of YNTEP is to ensure that students are well prepared to fill teaching positions in the Yukon and promote increased participation by them in the territory’s education system.
