The course is designed for writers or filmmakers who wish to develop screenwriting skills within the context of a filmmaking environment and within a creative working relationship with a professional writing mentor. On completion, writers will have a body of work and skills necessary for employment in the world of film and television. The main practical work is the development of a feature film screenplay.
London Film School is located in the centre of London and this course is validated by London Metropolitan University.
Entry requirements
The minimum entry requirement will normally be a lower second-class Honours degree in a relevant area, or a European qualification or other equivalent.
Applicants will also be considered who have a relevant professional qualification and/or extensive relevant professional experience.

This fast-paced and highly stimulating course is aimed at individuals who want to make an immediate and positive difference within an organisation and enhance their own coaching skills within a dedicated coaching context.
With a deliberately small intake of just 15 people per group and three intakes per year, the programme aims to develop competent, skilled coaches who operate ethically and professionally. This will enable you to create greatly improved levels of performance within an organisation. Using the tools, theory and practices you develop during the programme, you will be able to identify those areas where coaching would have genuine benefits and be equipped to put those techniques into immediate and measurable effect.
The Education Department offers students the opportunity to explore the political, historical, social, and psychological dimensions involved in contemporary education. Although the department does not offer a major or minor, many students have been able to design multidisciplinary majors and minors (through the Center for Interdisciplinary and Special Studies) in which Education courses have played a key role. Given the Mission Statement of the College, we particularly wish to focus our students’ understanding on the plight and potential of America’s urban schools. Courses, faculty research, and student internship and teaching opportunities reflect this special focus.
The department also offers the Teacher Education Program (TEP), a series of courses that enables students from selected majors to become licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to teach in public middle or high schools. We maintain an active relationship with Burncoat Middle and High Schools to support the TEP, and also sponsor students in semester-away and other experiences to complement the TEP.

The department of Geography Education aims to understand the relationship of human-nature relationships, regional linkage, and to analyze the spatial interaction of various phenomena on the earth s surface.
Master’s Degree in History and Philosophy of Education
This Master’s program is available only on the Bloomington campus. It provides students with the opportunity for growth in fundamental abilities that contribute clarity of direction and purpose to the professional tasks of educators. The program provides opportunities for students to inquire into the historical roots of educational policies and problems and to grasp the relationship between educational philosophies and practices and economic, social, political, and cultural developments.
The Master’s degree in History and Philosophy of Education is usually a step towards the doctorate and should be individually planned. Students should consult the program faculty before applying for admission.
Students in this program must complete a minimum of 36 credit hours of coursework, including a 15-hour major core requirement, 9 hours of coursework outside the School of Education, and 12 hours of relevant Electives.
The Social Sciences undergraduate degree program is designed for students who wish to follow a career in secondary education teaching history, geography, government, and economics. This program prepares graduates for entrance into the Secondary Education Credential Program where graduates are awarded the California Single Subject Teaching Credential.
The graduate program in Environment and Community is a two-year interdisciplinary Master of Arts (M.A.) in Social Sciences. The mission of the Environment and Community program is to prepare students to understand the relationship between communities and their environment, to analyze environment-community issues at different scales, and to act effectively in situations where values and interests diverge.
